Major conference programs we've never played

There's only 13 "Power 5" programs we've never played. None of them are particularly noteworthy football schools, except maybe Pitt and maybe Oregon due to recent history.

Wake Forest
Big Ten
Indiana
Purdue
Iowa
Northwestern
Big 12
Kansas
Kansas State
Pac 12
Arizona
Arizona State
Oregon
Oregon State
We've also never played Navy or Air Force (we played Army once).

I'm surprised we've never played Kansas or Virginia. I don't know why I think we should have played them but I do.

Can't afford to schedule them when we have to play Southern Miss for the 45th time.

Oregon is about the only one on that list of Power 5's that jumps out at me...I'd like to play the service schools, particularly the two we haven't played...

Iowa has some good fans and is a fairly decent program. That would be good one.

I'd be up for a home and home with them just because of the experience with the children's hospital next to the stadium.

Surprised we haven't seen them back in the day during our 9-10 win seasons in the consolation big 10 match-up Whatever Bowl in Florida.
Oregon would be a good match-up. Would love to get those guys on the schedule.

The only ones that surprise me are Virginia, Pitt and Iowa. Maybe Purdue.

wasn't the army game in the sun bowl? Seemed like we went to alot of those at some point long ago

They also plant patches of corn in the medians around the stadium parking lot. Iowa City is a decent spot.

Just that we've played them over 40 times and they aren't even in our conference.

It's not a surprise that most of our OOC opponents are going to be somewhat local to the southeast, makes it easier for them to travel, but I'd be happy if we never played Western Carolina or UT Chattanooga ever again.
No insult to either of those programs, but it's just not really a fun or fair game for either team or the team's fanbases.
