What's the general consensus among Tide fans? I think in general we will root for LSU here, but let's consider what's best for the team's quest for Atlanta.
LSU is the more talented team, thus is a greater overall threat.
But, AU has the weaker remaining schedule.
Whoever loses is completely eliminated from any West chance.
I think I'll end up doing my usual one time annual root for LSU.

I hope Auburn plays like shite for the 6th week in a row and wins because of the refs again. The LSU melt will be glorious and Auburn fans will still hate their team and want to burn it all down.

Alabama would have to lose twice, including to LSU. I don’t see that happening. So like usual I’ll root for auburn to lose.

I'm just going to enjoy the game.
IMO, the most enjoyable outcome would be for Auburn to win on another blown call at the end.
Having said that, no matter who wins there's going to be a glorious melt on tRant.

I think LSU blows them out! As bad as LSU’s defense is, Malzahn will find a way to make them look formidable. I can see Bigsby having a big day, that kid is electric.

The Finley kid is a legit talent. He’s raw and green but he’s a helluva athlete and could cause the rest of LSU’s schedule some problems. I’m going to pull for LSU this weekend but I’m not going to be ecstatic if they boat race Aubie. LSU has enough talent and athletes to be dangerous if they build a little confidence. It will be interesting to watch Saturday.

Agree - Finley looked good.
Their defense is absolutely awful, though. They can't stop the run to anywhere but straight up the centers arse and they completely bust coverage at least 1 time a drive.
They remind me of Tennessee's defense the one year Sunseri was the coordinator.

Yeah, USCe put up over 400 yards of offense. They just failed to score on multiple deep possessions.
We still aren't great or even really good on defense, but there have been signs of improvement over the last 2 games. LSU can't say the same thing.

LSU's defense is why the idea of promoting Strong isn't something I can fully get behind. Pelini hasn't been a DC in like a decade and it shows.

Yeah, LSUs offense looks solid. Defense has holes all over the field. Abysmal
