Just a poor performance from him, to be blunt. Receivers definitely haven't been helpful at times, but more on Ty.

They have heated him up but he’s also had time and missed throws. If he hits a couple of them the game would’ve been over 30 minutes ago.

I don't understand why Grubb gets so much praise. It doesn't appear that there's any rhyme or reason to his playcalls. It's like every drive is completely random. What's his actual gameplan?
Remember when we had guys like Kiffin or Sark? They had actual GAMEPLANS. They'd call something in the 1st Q to set up something else in the 3rd Q.
With Grubb, it seems like every drive he just flips to a different page in the playbook and closes his eyes and picks a play.

Ty's just a second slow out there tonight. Almost feels like he got information overload during prep and he's thinking too much.
