I think we still come out throwing the ball and running rpo's. Our strength is still the receivers and Mac is capable.

I think a side order of little Tua would also be wise.

Right now is when I wish we had done more than just hand the ball off at the end of all of those blowouts. Mac needs real reps to gain confidence.

Nick is going to have to make a decision this week on Taulia 's redshirt plan. We'll see.

Did anyone else notice that Mac wasnt really stepping into his throws?

Looked like he was shotputting his passes.

I know he doesn't want to throw an interception, but he's got to give his receivers a chance to catch it

Mac seems more like a pro style qb, hopefully Sark will dust off some of his pro style plays to get the ball to our playmakers. I think we could beat Arkansas with Waddle at QB. It at least would be fun to watch him run around.

I’m curious if we’ll see Lia at all.

The tv crew mentioned it I think it was Griese.

That and his fake throws on the hand offs were hilarious.

Only if Mac is injured I would think. I personally doubt Lia is ready to start right now so a redshirt is best.

Please stop with the little tua talk. Mac is capable. We just need better plays than streak routes on 3rd and long and long developing run plays.

He had no warm up and then expected to throw a ball to the fastest guys in the country. Of course his timing was off and nerves had him.

Mac will be ok. You’ll see....

Mac seemed nervous. He was constantly throwing when the defense was on the field. Hopefully a week taking first team reps will instill more confidence

If we had an elite defense, then he’d be serviceable. If he’s our only option against LSU, then God help us.

Hopefully since he has a week to digest the fact that he is the starter this week, he won’t look like a deer in the headlights. I know it was a scary moment but man up and go out there and play like you’re capable.

It all just looked like he was nervous and too tight, getting thrown into the game like he was.
That is his job this year though. Would love to see him gain confidence and throw every pass with zip and precision.

We'll get to see if Sark can earn his money with a gameplan that uses everyone but doesn't put it all on Mac.
Running game needs to step up also.

Ummm, what?

Taulia will likely be the better option against LSU if Tua can't play.

Just manage the damn game - just channel Greg McElroy.

That is all I want from him.

You kidding, Clark? Tualia has been here since, what, the spring? He has no where near the command of the playbook that Mac does. This is more than “Run a go route and I”ll hit you”.

Sark has only been at Bama since January.

Taulia has been here since January.

It's sark's playbook.

I think Taulia knows the playbook just fine.
