AJ is still the all-Saban QB in my mind.

Ehhh...I love AJ but Tua took the spot after his season last year. He’s just better. I respect your opinion, though.

AJ and Tua are close in my mind. Tua can pull away with a national title this season. Gotta remember; AJ was a 3 year starter, won back to back natties and was one FG away from maybe winning 3 in a row. Guy was a baller, a great leader and a winner. And he did all that in a Mac led and run heavy offense. Gotta give the man his due.

I’d also take DreKirk and Kareem Jackson over Hump and Milliner. I also have a hard time keeping HaHa out of that secondary as well as Rolo at ILB.

Barrett Jones at center over Kelly

Ryan Andersen over Williams at OLB

Rolando McClain over CJ at MLB

Clinton-Dix over Eddie Jackson at safety.

Can you image McClain, Foster and Anderson at LB. All those alpha dogs, they would destroy someone on the field.

Jonah Williams over Cam.
Marcel Dareus over everybody except Q.

Hardest decision by far. I’d have to put McClain over one of the two.

Then it isn't a depth chart, is it?

Cam Robinson
Chance Warmack
Ryan Kelly
DJ Fluker
Andre Smith

When did Fluker ever play OG?

Why would you bypass an All-American at OG in Barrett Jones in favor of a guy who never played a snap at the position?

And when did Q. Willliams ever play at DE?

That's the thing about these "all Saban, all decade, all whatever" lists guys post. They tend to just throw their favorite 22 players or who they thought were the 22 best players. It doesn't work that way. Can't decide between AJ and Tua? No problem...move Tua to another position.

I would take Trent Richardson over Henry. College version of Trent was unstoppable. But it’s very close

Here's one thing that always gives me trouble when trying to make one of these teams. What is more important? How productive the players were in their 3-4 years or how good they ended up being at their peak?

For example, I think Reuben Foster's play in 2016 was probably the best MLB play we've had under Saban (maybe Rolando in 2009). I think CJ Mosley had a better overall career though.

Same thing with Quinnen this past year. I can't remember a more dominant season by a D Lineman under Saban, but overall I would say Da'Ron Payne and Jonathan Allen were more valuable players for us.

Am I the only one that thinks Cam Robinson was average after his Freshman year?

I feel like Cam set the NCAA record for false starts.

No need to struggle with a best 24.Saban has had too many good players.
Make two teams to do justice to all his great players.

I don’t know if he was average but his play did seem to drop off each season.

No doubt. He did pick it up toward the end of his last year. I'd have him 4th at LT behind Williams, Smith, and CyKo (have already forgotten how to spell his last name).
