Saban had some really nice things to say about the OL yesterday. Personally, I'm excited for this unit's potential. We've got 8 guys who could all start:

Alex Leatherwood
Jedrick Wills
Evan Neal
Emil Ekiyor
Matt Womack
Deonte Brown
Chris Owens
Landon Dickerson

Not only do we have potentially different lineups to try out until we find the best one, but we've got guys who can step in and play at a high level (well Brown is suspended four games) if someone goes down. I really think this will be one of the strongest lines we've had under Saban. Bookend Tackles and beasts on the interior.

Can’t believe Lashley hasn’t found a role by now . He may be one to watch in the portal in the near future

Landon Dickerson was a great addition to our OLine.
Young man has potential to lay many in his view flat on their arse.

They are trying Dickerson at Center as well. Which would give them many variations that are possible. Lashley is probably the top reserve tackle. I figure Leatherwood and Wills both turn pro after this season and Womack graduates so he will have a good shot next season.

Yea I'm pretty excited about the combination of versatility, experience, depth and high level talent we have up there.

Will be interesting to see what they do with some of the pieces inside by mid-season with Neal/Dickerson/Owens/Brown/Ekiyor/Womack at guard and Ekiyor/Owens at center.

Pretty great problem to have.

It's got to be the most talented OL out there this year, at least going two-deep. Finger's crossed as to whether Flood can showcase that.

Curious to see where all the interior 3 shuffling ends up. The Dickerson at C experiment seems bizarre, but the guy must really be showing that he needs to be on the field somewhere.

Georgia's 2-deep is pretty damned ridiculous, but our group is certainly in that top 5 or so.

I also really like the makeup of some of those guys in terms of nastiness. Dickerson plays nasty, Wills plays nasty and Brown and Leatherwood are punishing downhill blockers.

I think we all want to see more of that this season.

I'm more excited about the coaching change. Key got a pass by a bunch of folks.

Yea, it just never felt like those lines meshed into a well functioning unit. They were always talented and they were never bad, but the run blocking was always kind of meh. I never knew how much of that to attribute to Key and how much to attribute to the whole RPO thing, but I hope it gets better.

like most others i'm excited about the high potential of this OL. i'm thinking they'll be much improved run blockers. but i still want to see how well they pass block. them coupled with the rb's pass blocking will be the difference in tua's health, for the most part.

FSU fan base is pretty salty about Dickerson. Those clowns have been melting for a few weeks.

We have a lot of talent. If they gel well and stay out of injury trouble they really could have a dominant season, and I expect them to. I know that’s cliche and espn analyst type breakdown but it’s the truth. I know we have Tua but if the OL is dominant I really hope Bama punches people in the mouth and runs it 30 times a game. To see a defense wear down and the defenders avoid contact with a RB is awesome to see

I hope Dickerson lands a starting spot and dominates. Seems like a good kid just trying to prove his worth.
