It is only fitting that I get this thing rolling. Hurts gonna drag his nuts across the vols Saturday. Not even worried. He owns LSU too.

I sure hope Tua comes back healthy ASAP, but, how awesome would it be for Jalen to lead us to a title? I’m on board.

This sucks. I hate this type of offense.

New to the board, Roll Tide! Jalen will rise to this occasion like he always does, definitely improved since last year.

If everything ends up to be true about the injury and Jalen keeps us afloat (very likely), he'll cement a very special place for himself within the Bama legend.

I'm Team Jalen and Team Tua and Team Jones. I don't care who the starter is on Saturday, I will support them come rain or shine!

Alabama will be fine with Jalen quarterbacking against LSU, in the event Tua does not return. LSU's weakness versus Georgia was their run defense. Jalen will be able to exploit this .....Georgia would have fared much better had they stuck with their ground game, as it was consistently moving ball

I want to see him rack up about 285 and 4 TDs through the air.

As long as Jalen can run, he will always be a weapon. Although, it's not the ideal situation, I though we will be fine.

I think we definitely could go into LSU with Jalen as the QB and win.
But if we didn't, it was probably because: a) we beat ourselves, and b)Tua didn't play.

I'm giving Locksley an A+ for his play calling with Tua, but I'm giving him a C- for what I've seen when Jalen is out there. I'll give him a pass since the games have all been over by that point, but do we really have to go THAT conservative with Jalen? He's probably hit more passes travelling 30+ in the air this season than he did all of last year and to me, looks a lot better.
I say this under the assumption that the entire WR group will be out there healthy and ready to roll.

Disagree. First off, Jalen is terrible at the read-option. The same shortcomings that hamstring him in reading defenses in the passing game hurt him in the run-option game. He simply can't make the correct read quickly enough.
Secondly, if you don't think Aranda will have a reinforced brigade in the box, you're crazy. He is not going to respect Jalen's throwing ability. Aranda will take his chances with Greedy and Fulton man up on the outside with Hurts at QB.
While I think LSU is susceptible to the run, that is predicated on having a viable air attack. With Tua, we run for 200+. With Jalen, less than 100.

If there is any doubt about Tua going into the LSU game I say we start Jalen. Let’s play the numbers game. 1st off LSU has to win 1 more Conference game than Bama to win the west. I don’t see Bama losing to Auburn or Mississippi State at home. The Bama LSU game is ~50-50 with Jalen starting. If LSU beats Mississippi State and Bama they still have to go to A&M and win which is another coin flip game
TL;DR I would bet against LSU winning out and we still win the west

we'll kick LSU's arse with Tua or merely beat them with Jalen, but your observation is wrong. If LSU were to beat Alabama (not happening) and neither team lost another game, LSU would represent the West.
