Saban tested negative for a second time per his daughter's Twitter account. She's posting heart emojis instead of just flat out telling people if he's negative or not. Just before the story broke about him having a negative test, she posted a single heart emoji. She's just tweeted again with two heart emojis.

She is brilliant. Smart marketing and all of that. She's fine as well :)

She is also soft . I have never once tagged her in anything or responded to her on twitter but she blocked me last year bc I was saying fire Pete Golding lol

It must be repeated that, unlike us, she knows Golding and his family personally. She's probably spoken with him and his wife on multiple occasions and - because of how she acts when he is mentioned negatively - must like him and his family quite a bit.

Following up on Alabama’s statement on Nick Saban’s Thursday negative test--I’m told Saban’s test today (Friday) was also negative. If tomorrow morning’s test is negative he’ll be cleared to coach, per the given protocol.

Exactly. Fans on social media doesn't always realize the personal connections to coaching families and friends.

There is liking and being friends with someone and there is completely ignoring the extremely valid criticism for such a high paying job that is directly funded by the state's education system.

Is it, though? Isn't the majority of it paid from athletics foundation money paid by boosters, or is that only the head coach that's paid that way? If it isn't, it should be, now that coordinator pay is over $1M and assistant pay is often half that.

Rinaldi also reported this morning on Gameday that Saban’s Friday test came back negative.
