He still loves Bama and he'll occasionally throw in a slight troll towards us, but he never means anything by it

But I think he took his job seriously and worked hard. Have to respect that, and I was always impressed.
The hire could have backfired. But he made sure it didn't.

He is doing a good job at FAU. They are sitting at 3-3 with a remaining schedule that makes getting bowl eligible a real possibility.
