Hate to see that... always thought he had potential to make an impact as a starter.

Sucks he never figured it out, but after he failed to get any meaningful PT at all, even late in the year, in 2019 with our plethora of issues I figured his time as anything more than a specialty player had pretty much passed.
Hope he gets a chance somewhere.

Maybe someone like Sanders is balling out

This one of Tosh's recruits?

It seemed apparent that he was never going to be more than a special teamer here. Good luck to him elsewhere, though. He gave it his all on ST for us.

Had a really down year last year... not surprised especially if you look at our LB depth chart

He played balls to the walls on special teams. Definitely will always remember him fondly for the effort he gave.

Nail on head per usual.
I wish him the best of luck.

The right call for him with Henry T likely joining an already crowded depth chart.

I believe he blocked like 3 kicks in his career!!..And played his butt off on Special teams..Good luck to BAK wherever you end up!!!..Arky St?.......

Thought he had a chance in 19’ when he got some major minutes in the South Carolina win. Kid looked explosive but had his mistakes too being that was his first major playing time.
Kid has so much talent and I think will eventually succeed wherever he goes

I thought this might be coming. Great ST player but just couldn't figure it out on defense. Wish him all the best!! I suspect we'll have a few more this spring and summer that go hunting for more PT.

So I imagine its looking pretty promising to get Henry in Titletown?

Kaho needs to go somewhere with a less complicated defense and that's plenty of schools that are in the top 25 on an annual basis. I also believe that Saban gave Kaho a heads up that he may be further down the depth chart if he stays.

The interview his dad gave made it seem like a foregone conclusion if he could get the in-conference waiver. I think that's supposed to be voted on in April.

Speculation about his landing spot for those who are interested in following this thread. Posted a couple of paragraphs below - more discussion in the link.
Will Alabama linebacker Brandon Kaho transfer to Nevada?
Brandon "Ale" Kaho, formerly of Reno High, did indeed put his name in the NCAA transfer portal after three seasons with Alabama, which were largely spent as a special teams player. The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder had 33 tackles in 40 games with the Crimson Tide. He was an elite special teams player, but you don't get drafted being an elite special teams player. You need to get on the field more regularly at your primary position, which for Kaho is linebacker. He'll have two seasons of eligibility remaining but will have to sit out next season under NCAA transfer rules unless: (a) he gets a waiver from the NCAA to play immediately; (b) the NCAA approves the one-time transfer rule before next September; or (c) he graduated from Alabama in three years. He did get immediate eligibility at Alabama after transferring from Washington, so maybe those strings can be pulled again.
So where's he going? I'd love to tell, but nobody knows at this stage. I do think it's fair to say he'll end up on the West Coast, so you're looking at the Pac-12, the Mountain West or BYU, which could be an option as that was the first school he was committed to before signing with Washington (and eventually landing at Alabama). While Nevada has already awarded all 25 of its scholarship for the 2021 class (plus two blueshirts) and had Kaho's brother, Vai, decommit from the school to sign with San Diego State, I do believe Nevada will be in the mix. There are some issues to sort out, and I'm not sure being back home would be the best thing for Kaho honestly, he's a supreme talent that would make the Wolf Pack better.

if Reno is over limit... why not give Butch and Arky State a go? Would think that Butch may be in good shape to pick up several late spring transfers as Bama gets closer to the "Number" and guys start looking for some place to Play Now

Ben Davis and Kaho bout to go somewhere together and be the second coming of Ro and Hightower.
