Alabama's 2017 season.

And we still won the championship. Unbelievable.

Lowkey nervous about having surgery tomorrow I've been playing on a broke ankle since week 5. It’s definitely been hard playing knowing that any play could be your last. I'm grateful and blessed to had finish the season much more coming soon #Blessed #Bama #RollTide #TheReturn

Just jabbering here on a side note.

First, I sure hope these guys come through these surgeries OK and will be better than ever.

But, what we always hear about is how athletes don't get paid, etc. but they do get a scholarship. What isn't mentioned is that they also get free health care (I am assuming this)
Thanks to Obama and the overall health care industry in this country, most families would be out a good bit of money to pay the expenses of surgeries for their college age kids, even if they did have "full coverage" health insurance.

What in the frick? We are so deep at running back with a healthy Damien Harris and we're playing Jacobs on a broken ankle!? What the frick is wrong with the medical staff?

We could've played Damien, Najee, and Brian all year and been better off

Wow, that would make since though. There were so many times we questioned why he wasnt in the game. Probably because he couldnt. At least he will be 100% next year

Dr Waldrop will fix him up. If Josh career was at risk then no way would he have continued to play this season.

It was a "slight fracture". It obviously wasn't affecting his ability to play.

Are you serious? Fyi, the medical staff doesn't handle the lineups or substitutions (coaches job). They just supply the information about the condition of the injured player, and let the coaches take it from there.

if you watched how he ran last year compared to this year, it most definitely affected his ability

Thanks to Obama

I'm fairly certain player surgeries have been paid for by the university prior to the Obama admin.

Bingo. And to the point where the kid is scared about his future ability to play football? I'm pissed off. Someone should know what the frick they're doing and care a little more, whether it's the coaches or the medical staff

Najee Harris could've easily stepped in and taken his snaps, and probably been more effective

and there's always the 'maybe he didn't want to have surgery during the season' option

lots of variables here we know nothing about
