his snapchat out his hamstring ended up being real so this could mean something also.

With respect, I doubt Jacobs or any of the players know a darn thing about who will be the next OC. I'm thinking maybe he HOPES it will be Locksley based on his relationship with him.

Why don't we want locksley

Locks success as a play caller is middling at best

To be fair, so was Daboll's.

Same could've and was said about Daboll

With the talent returning on offense any decent coach would have to work hard at sucking to look like a bad play caller. I think I may could average 30 ppg and at least play the right quarterback. We have won 3 championships with bad play callers.

Not sure that opinion changed much despite all that happened.
There were better OCs, there were worse OCs.

Nuss and daboll were the only bad oc's

Applewhite and Sark definitely deserve consideration.

I always forget about Applewhite

No truer words.

It's weird to think Applewhite's offense might fit better in Tuscaloosa now than in 2007.
It was too big time for him then, it wasn't the skullcrushing run game Bama built their dynasty on...

I wish I could have seen his face after he supposedly got that big arse chewing

Me, personally, I'd like to stay away from retreads. Surely there are many, many young OCs ready to get their shot, young guys with the energy and willingness to recruit.

And I'd also like to stay away from hires that will leave us in a year when they get offered a head coaching position.
