After our performance in the red zone last night, I think we missed Jase a lot more than I originally thought we would. We had 4 possessions in the red zone last night that ended in a FG or a TO. He had proven to be an asset in goal line and short yardage situations and gave us a lot of versatility. B Rob had a nice game last night, but we didn’t have anyone behind him at all.

As we’ve seen before, empty red zone possessions and losing the TO battle is a recipe for an ugly loss under Saban, a la 2018 Clemson. This game was a lot closer and obviously A&M isn’t Clemson, but if we clean up the possessions and TO’s inside the 20 last night, we walk away with an easy win last night.

Not much went right against A&M, but we’ll need someone to step up and provide some options in the red zone besides B Rob moving forward.

No! B Rob did a great job.

Would love to see the outcome of the game last night had Jase and Chris Allen been out on the field.

Roydell looked to do ok running the ball. I’m not sure he’s got enough lead in his britches to be as effective as BRob at picking up the blitz but he could have spelled him a little bit more.

Those two playing wouldn't correct poor DB play, WRs dropping passes, bad OC play calling, and a 96 yard TD on a kick return.

Chris Allen being out there would have given Bama another proven pass rusher that would have helped with the pass rush. A pass rush is a DB best friend.

Jase's pass catching ability sure could have helped in the red zone.

I’d have been happy to have Drew Sanders out there to see what he could have done.

With McCellan out for the year, Wheaton injured, and evidently Trey Sanders hasn't healed, we are thin at a position that looked great pre season. It would be interesting to see what Milroe might produce at running back.

Don't see how either will keep our QB from fumbling and throwing that INT.

Don't see how either stops BOB from passing three downs when we were first in goal on the three.

Don't see how either stops Golding from forgetting every adjustment we made after halftime and reverting to his delayed blitz man coverage which got us roasted on A&M last two drives.

So yeah... no difference.

Also this is our main problem. Instead of demanding better coaching people just want new players. So apparently we can't compete unless we have NFL players in every position in some of your minds.

Pathetic.

Been calling for more zone since the season started. Not exclusively but needs to be mixed in. Can’t give up chunk plays in those type of situations like Saturday. This is probably one of the worst covering secondaries we have had under Saban. It baffles me how we don’t use Kool Aid some. I can’t stand when we are in man and we have a safety matched up with the other teams best receiver . Much rather have a backup corner in that situation . JAD has done a good job this year but the others , corner and safeties have not covered well IMO

I think that Chris Allen would've made a difference because he is a playmaker, and him + Anderson poses big problems for Olines.

But yeah, I agree regarding Jase. Run game wasn't the problem.
