What say U hootie Ledbut?

Not trying to start a fight. Tua has looked great. I'm extreamly glad to have him. Had he started and played 1st string all year he may be as good as Jalen....but...Jalen is a winner and Coach Saban has known it from day 1.

So it's time to realize Jalen will most likely be the #1 QB until he leaves. I'm more than fine with that.

Over excited. I would delete but I've said it so I will have to live with it.

IRL Hootie would BMA i'm sure. I apologize.

Some of us remember the Watts/Zow years. It got downright ugly at times. Even with the team.

I'm just happy Hurts is getting better and Tua is getting to play. It will all shake out.

Saban is going to keep recruiting good QB's and not ruin them like Kevin Sumlin seems to do with every 5 star QB he promises a starting job to.

I just get tired of hearing what Jalen can't do, when he is doing so well.

Jalen does great for us. If you think people throw stones now wait until next year when his name in the draft is mentioned.

Jalen will most certainty start until he leave Bama if he wins a national championship this year. It would just be too hard to ever justify benching a national championship qb.

If he doesn’t win a national title this year, there will be a brutal ugly competition through the spring and fall of 2018, loser go home.

Huddie didn’t watch the game because he was probably playing Mustang Sally in front of six people at a dive bar in Dothan but will be here tomorrow to tell us we can’t expect to win games with Jalen only completing seven passes.

I love Jalen he is great but I really think we see a two QB system next year to make sure Tua is one ready and two happy.

No 2-QB system. But if Jalen keeps improving, it could allow for Tua to enter games sooner and thus play more next season, hopefully enough to keep him happy.

Who knows? Jalen could get hurt and miss some playing time. Jalen could have a breakout season next year and enter the draft.

I ain't worrying about it. I love that we have two really good QBs.

A 2 QB system would be a mess

He is a LONG way from being a first or second day pick.

I swear some of y'all wear crimson glasses so thick you can't see 2 steps in front of you.

Edit: Hell, he is a long way from being drafted period. He has been a revelation as a young QB, but let's not start acting like he doesn't have room for drastic improvement.

That being said, the kid has all the talent in the world to go along with all the intangibles you could ever want in a QB. If he puts it all together and plays to the level he capable of, the sky is the limit for his career.

I can't wait for next year, as good as he is now, I think he really blossoms as a junior.
