...just not at QB. I guarantee he will be playing on Sundays three years from now.

Kid is a baller. I’m sure Saban can find another position for him.

Probably not.

Not hard enough to play RB.

Not aggressive enough to play safety.

He said he should go to Texas. Which I vehemently disagree with because they have better QB's.

He can play because he's dangerous in the open field. Amazing how people will kick one of our own instead of lifting him up

Agreed. The kid has shown nothing but class since day 1. He did the best he could and never publicly complained or brought any negativity. I hope he stays around and carves out a role on the team.

I hope Hurts stays with us and carves out a niche position with our football team. Needs to remain a Crimson Tider till the end. Great kid.

Well said. Usually kids like that usually end up being needed, not that he hasn't come up big before.

It's more amazing how some people can't have an honest discussion. Calling a spade a spade isn't disrespecting the spade. This is a message board about alabama football. This isn't the meet and greet your favorite bama players reunion group.

I just don't see whatever it is some people are seeing. I can't think of another position that he could play at a high level. MAYBE something like H-back? I don't think he has the skills to be a RB or safety. Personally, I think he's probably a backup college QB.

Bingo.....I hope he stays and is the backup QB all the while working hard on trying to improve his mental portion of his passing skills. It is OK to be a good college football player that doesn't go to the NFL. Coach Bryant had 100's of them.

I would add though that the coaches on the film room mentioned that they all see jalen differently than how a fan views him. Some of us act like he's some garbage QB that coach just gave a scholarship to out of the kindness of his heart

Certainly fair assessment, but I disagree. His hips, vision and strength make him as good a runner as we have on the team. I see no issue for him to play either RB or HB. If you get him into the open field he is as good as anyone we've ever had.

Bingo. Dangerous in space. Must not have paid attention when JH was ripping off long runs this yr and last.
