I will say one thing.
After every single SEC arse kicking we deliver next season, I have a feeling that it will be a total reign of terror by Bama posters on the SEC rant. For the most part, Bama posters have always been very mild given our successes. Not in 2019. shite is going to be on like Donkey Kong after all of the trolling that we've gotten by losing one single game to a non SEC opponent. I generally don't even post much on the SEC rant, but you bet your arse there I will be there after every SEC win we have next season.

We have Tua and Saban next year. A cat and a dog could handle the OC and DC duties and take us to the SEC championship game.

Everyone knew when lupoi and locksley were promoted, both were either average or would end up as substandard at their coordinating jobs. They were promoted so as to maintain recruiting. That's it, that's all.
And you're right, when it mattered most those choices failed. Especially the choice of mike locksley. Legendary offensive talent given to a largely milquetoast offensive mind and known coaching failure. What a waste, a waste nick saban absolutely positively owns.
Have you ever heard of the glenngary leads? Well only closers get those. Mike locksley was given the glenngary leads when saban handed him that offense.
Coffee is for closers. Mike locksley's not a closer. He should've put that coffee down.

If by "cat and dog" you mean " dipshit" and by extension, you mean the likes of tosh lupoi and mike locksley then yeah, ok. Been there, done that.
You're right, we can get to atlanta and maybe even win the conference again with shitty coordinating but that's likely where it stops. In fact it damn near stopped there last season.
We can do all that again.

Well it depends on how he wants to go out, he's in the sunset of his career. He only has a few years left in him and ageism in this sport is real.
If he gets these hires right, he can maybe end his career with another championship, drop the mic and head out the right way. If he gets them wrong then maybe he goes out like alot of old coaches go out and nobody wants that.
These hires actually matter alot and maybe on a personal level, more than any he's ever made. He's "legacy" coaching now.
