Gus finishing 5-5 on a 3 game losing streak is a lot different than Gus finishing 7-3 winning 6 of his last 7 with the only loss to Alabama in Tuscaloosa. A LOT different.
Is it though? Despite Gus's ups and downs their recruiting stays pretty consistent, and next year is really his money year anyway. I don't think 5-5 vs. 7-3 makes any difference to Auburn if they lose to both us and UGA in both scenarios. I expect them to go for broke this weekend.

If you can slay the giant (which also happens to be your biggest rival) (and # 1 in the nation) (AND during a pandemic year), I'd think that would go a long way with the folks in charge down there.

Per a reliable insider, all injured (except Sanders & Waddle) and quarantined players who missed the UK game are expected to be available for the Iron Bowl.
Here's the thing about this - with contact tracing the way it is done and testing multiple times a week you really don't know who will be available until Saturday morning.

I almost wouldn't be surprised of some dirty play by Auburn Saturday, if the game is getting out of hand.

I dunno, that's not how this rivalry is generally played. Almost ever, really.

They took out Isaiah Buggs two years ago by cut blocking his knee badly. I think he had a bad sprain at the very least. Hootie Jones had a similar injury in 2017 and he missed the rest of the season. Auburn is dirty. Don't be fooled.

Chaz Ramsey did the same to Glenn Dorsey. Dirtiest play I've ever seen.

Ramsey, Pugh, Ziemba, etc. were probably the dirtiest group to play OL in the modern football era. You really don't see trash like those guys much anymore, and certainly not on the same team at the same time.

From everything that I heard, Pugh learned it from his dad.

Beating Alabama is almost like winning the Natty regardless of the teams record.

I don’t wanna call them a dirty team, but that Hootie Jones play was unnecessary. For an offensive lineman to cut block a defensive back makes no sense at all.

I have been watching the barn play Bama for longer than most of you have been alive...(Just kidding); but for a very long time. They do not usually rise to the level of Lsu's dirty play; but are trying harder (much like Avis)...
As far as injuries, the potential loss of Tank, could make then more dangerous with more rpo's for Bo and I believe the Frazier (6-7 270ish TE) is back? and with Pegues and Frazier adding TE/HB targets (Something our MLB's have tons of trouble with...) Well, I see this game as much as I hate to say it... potentially much closer than any one of us would want.
Praying for whomever has been making the D adj's since 2nd have of Uga game... to be on top of their game for the Barn... even if its like UK and start in the 2nd qtr/half
EF the Barn...
