You have no proof of this, but why don’t you keep politics out of this or start a fricking thread about it

I don’t recall them having any proof he said that. Only “sources say”.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your post. I agree most of the discussions on this board are civil.

Of the times I've drawn lines in the sand IRL, I've never met a man who wanted to cross it. And most folks, even stupid ones, understand the need to avoid felonious assault.

He has publicly said some pretty vile things about John McCain's service as well as some disgusting remarks towards a Gold Star Family, so it's not a huge logical leap to believe at least some of the recent allegations are true.
When someone show you who they are, believe them.
When someone show you who they are, believe them.

Maybe my favorite prevatt33b moment was when he got on his soapbox in the original coronavirus thread and talked about how sad he was that we were all blind to our own impending COVID doom because of our government, something he would never have to worry about in Costa Rica.
September 10, 2020:
Costa Rica (population 5.0 million) 7-day average daily cases: 1,156 (and trending up)
Alabama (population 4.9 million) 7-day average daily cases: 897 (and trending down)

But it shouldn’t be run so widely and accepted as fact unless you have actual proof. I’d say the same thing about Biden too.
Also like to point out the editor of that publication (the Atlantic) came out and said it’s possible it wasn’t true

BTW - if you caught coronavirus which country would you want to be in and receive critical, life saving healthcare? The U.S. or Costa Rica?

One of my finer moments on this board was telling him he should petition Chicken to change his username to “InsufferableTwat”
I hope he’s reading this.

As did McCain.....McCain was also the one who kicked off the Russia hoax by passing on the phony dossier to the FBI and telling them to look into it. Don't agree with Trump disparaging McCain's service but I can understand why Trump hates him. A lot of people hated McCain.

Damn man. You were just in another thread saying we romanticize 9/11 and that people are pawns. Now you are taking up for John McCain? Seek some help sir.

4 different outlets independently reported the story with their own sources. If it was just one far left source, I would absolutely agree with applying a high level of skepticism to it. When 4 outlets, including a Fox News reporter, report some aspects of the same story, there's a very high probability some aspects of the story are accurate.
And regardless of the reasons he said those remarks towards McCain and the Kazar family, I only brought them up as evidence of a pattern for him.

So they say. In the end all these “sources” could easily be lying or heavily exaggerating. It’s also a bit weird this came out now when these people have known about this supposed incident for a while. Also weird that the Atlantic editor said that it’s possible might not be true.
Unless you have at least some proof, don’t treat it as fact. And don’t say they weren’t because they absolutely were. That’s one of the problems with politics and media in this country.

Well, I don't treat them as fact. I think at least some of them are true, and I make that assessment on them being consistent with other disparaging remarks he's made towards those that have served.

So you say but there are lots going around saying Trump said...
Again why wait so long if this was serious, legit news? Why would the Atlantic editor come out and say it might not be true if they were so confident in their sources?
This is equivalent to teenage gossip. One or two people make up or heavily exaggerate something. They spread the rumors to other people who act like they themselves heard or saw it when spreading the rumors to others.
You acting like multiple news groups saying it gives it legitimacy is kind of funny too. These news groups are always clamoring to say they have the inside scoop on politics or entertainment even if they don’t.
