I was concerned for the Tide, Now I'm not

I thought we had a good chance of losing Saturday, but then the shite talking started. ESPN, SI and the NYT come out with articles saying that we can't win. Auburn is too strong.
Now the bad boys of the defense that have been sidelined all year are coming back.
I say we roll to a big win. I say it's complete domination. I say Auburn doesn't stand a chance in hell and that eagle smacking the press box will be a harbinger of bad things to come for the boys in blue.

I joined this site long before there was an SEC rant and interlopers weren't necessarily welcome. I chose a covert username to get approved. Purple and Gold were my schools colors. Montevallo was where I was from. Hence the name.

I was not concerned before. You couldn't tell it from the board but so far this year has been sabans most dominant statistically. We are top 10 in scoring offense, #1 in scoring defense,#2 in rush defense, #3 in pass defense etc, etc, etc. And I supposed to be afraid Gus the barn beat an overrated Georgia team?

We certainly haven't played as tough a schedule as we are use too.
My only worries this weekend has to do with stopping the runs up the middle without extra support etc. If we can't do it, then we need the offense to step up. If we can do it, we win.

We've been the number 1 defense for most of the year according to the S&P. It's 100% accurate.
Edit: and when we weren't #1, we were #2. I know. I follow the S&P closely.
