I think the chances are slim to none, but the melt to me if this happened and we won would be glorious. The most epic melt of the rant that I honestly think it owuld crash lol

It took a perfect game from lsu to beat us when you look at all the mistakes we made.

I'll just sum it up by saying I very much disagree

Those bastards are praying we don't get in. Every one of them is saying we don't deserve it with our schedule. Wait, what?? We just played YOU and after a shitty first half when we did NOTHING right and gifted you a 20 point lead, we STILL almost ran you down. They are scared to death we WILL get in and open a can of whoop arse on them a la 2011.

No, it didn't. LSU had a few miscues of their own.
Burrow's fumble/interception, blown coverage on the long TD pass late, missed XP, missed 2 point conversion.
Their defense played sloppy a number of times

They played a much cleaner game than Alabama but that’s not saying much.

I really don't think they are.

I disagree completely. They are not scared of anyone.

Last time I checked, the 2011 defense isn't taking the field so that's a big negative ghost rider.

Nope, but the 2019 Bama offense with a healthy Tua would take the field.

And would have to play a perfect game (which is possible), because the defense would be no different.

And guess what? It doesn't matter. This isn't baseball, you don't get to play a 3 game series. We aren't owed another chance. We played a game (at home), and we lost.

In all likelihood we have to wait until 2020 to rectify that.........like 99.97% of teams that have lost a game in a college football season have had to do.

I just want to see a better Bama defense going forward but that isn't going to be the case since the same folks that played these past 9 weeks will start again on Saturday. The talent level is just not their. Spare me the 4 and 5 * BS. We don't have players with football savvy and they sure as hell can't tackle.

We lose to them 8/10 times. They are just better this year.

I think your math may be off George. I’m going to say something like 3 or four 1-loss teams get left out of the playoff each year while two or three others get in.

No I just meant in general - if a team loses to another team in college football, your next chance to beat them is the following season.

Almost nobody in college football gets a 2nd chance to avenge a loss. You can count on your hands the number of times it has happened in the last 25 years. Some people here talk about it like it's a regular occurrence because of 2011.

We lost, take your medicine for the next 363 days and move on.

The expansion of the championship from two to four teams obviously increases the possibility tremendously. The reality is there simply aren’t many teams who lose just one game.

I can’t fault anyone for wanting a second chance. I doubt it happens but I hope it does.

Bama doesn't have to play a perfect game, just their game.

The Bama defense is what it is. As long as Bama's offense and special teams isn't giving LSU points, then Bama can outscore LSU.

Bama damn near did it Saturday after making major mistake after major mistake on offense.

But we didn't, and it's football, and the game you played is the game you played.

You’re not wrong of course but they have to fill four spots. There is a scenario where Bama gets a spot still. Not likely IMO but possible. Should Bama just decline?

Definitely not - if it happens and we get invited then lets roll, much like 2017.

It's just the general attitude that we messed up so just wait until next time when we don't mess up and learn from our mess ups and that is really the one that counts!

If the shoe was on the other foot Bama wouldn't hate on LSU getting in the playoff.
