He oozes Bama pride. Watch him on the sideline each game. Nobody is fired up as much as Jones when a play is made. I have seen this for two years straight. Don't want him to replace Saban by any means but he brings a,lot of energy to the program and the players seem to love him.

Exactly what is his function? I mean he was a former head coach of a major college program, certainly he has more input other than washing cars and patting players on the back after good plays.

Earlier this year, he was promoted from Intern to Special Assistant to the Head Coach.

It’s awesome that he’s basically working for minimum wage from Bama while UT pays him millions to help us.

You have to applaud the guy. Most people would not be willing to humble themselves to this point to resurrect their career. But he didn’t care about the optics. He’s doing whatever he can to get better and it’ll payoff for him in the long run.
