according to this dumbass, Alabama has had 6 offensive coordinators (counting the next guy) since Lane Kiffin. I'm not going to give a link because he doesn't deserve more clicks. I wish I hadn't linked it in another thread.

Alan Rubenstein

"Alabama has had a lot of instability on their coaching staff. It cost them Clemson’s star Freshman wide receiver Justyn Ross who is from Alabama. Ross signed with the Tigers because of the high turnover on the Alabama staff. It could also have been the reason Enos chose to move on.

Enos was slated to replace Alabama Offensive Coordinator Mike Lockley who left Tuscaloosa to take over at Maryland as the Head Coach. Counting who would ever replace Enos, Alabama will have had six Offensive Coordinators since Lane Kiffin in 2014. It’s clear by his stealth actions that Enos wanted to leave."

Enos was slated.....that statement is incorrect based on Dan Enos words. The OC wasn't offered to him. It appears the OC position wasn't offered to Gattis either even though Nick wanted him to stay at Bama. Perhaps within two more weeks we will see what Nick's plan is for both offense and defense.

This is the dumbest bunch of shite I’ve seen lately. So high turnover on the staff (that’s the norm since 2007) is why Enos left? Did the author read that back to himself?

I saw a news article before the Orange bowl about Tua that stated he injured, and required surgery on, the ankle he messed up late in the SECCG. The same frikking article also had the ESPN video embedded in it that explained that the ankle that required surgery was not the late game injury, but rather the one which he injured at the beginning of the game, on the first series. I mean how lazy can you get. The article you wrote was incorrect, and then you embedded an espn video into it that contradicted your writing....a video that you obviously didn't watch.

Am I imagining that we had co-OC's this year?

This is a weird thing to rant about. Does it really matter which play caused the injury requiring surgery? The important part was that he had an injury requiring surgery.

Not that I knew of. I don't think anyone had the co-OC title with Locksley.

This is the article that made me question whether Enos had been named OC

Stephen M. Smith wrote this bullshite headline today
quote:

Nick Saban’s famous “butt chewings” led to Gattis leaving for Michigan

He's the worst hack out there

Unfortunately perception is reality in the current wuick news era. Journalists smell blood and they are pouncing on the program and Saban. People love to hate us because we win. Same with the Patriots or the Yankees.

I'm not overly concerned only hardcore fans are paying attention right now anyway. When we start 5-0 next year they will be asking how Saban saved the program from the brink. It's just hype and money. I'll worry when they stop talking about us.

The lazy arse writer is likely implying that Enos and Gattis should be included in the list as well.
