Is he one of the guys we signed and no one could figure out why we took his commitment or am I thinking of the wrong guy?

Stupidity of his decision aside, the kid has talent. I’m sure you questioned taking Bradley Bozeman too.

His meeting with Nick this week should prove interesting. I will assume he will get a 2nd chance unless his slate has other incidents logged that we never heard about.

He has been on the team since last August, hasn't played at all.

Bad news for him is, Saban might want to free up some scholarships for the 19 class.

I think he is gone.

From personal experience once someone is injured it becomes a different type of charge. I dont know laws in Alabama but in NC and SC that usually comes with jail time depending on the severity of the injury and driving record.

Yeah, not just driving under the influence; but reckless driving and injuring another person. That's really bad. I hate it for the kid, but he should be gone.

Yea, it's bad enough getting a DUI driving home and not being in an accident. This is bad. He might need a fresh start elsewhere.

ALEA summary

Actual code

The only enhancements for a first offense that involved injury to someone other than the dui driver is a longer license suspension and interlock use period.

That’s a really late (or I guess early) DUI.
