4th and 11 because of the stupidity of call.

But me personally, I always loved seeing some of the players on defense swarm to him and celebrate after a big stop. Hightower's 4th down stop against Ole Miss in '08 comes to mind.

You want to talk about all the Bama negative recruiting against Bama since he got the job

Don’t really get the hate for Kirby. He was instrumental in helping Saban restore Alabama to it’s place among the elite in college football. He recruited A LOT of talent to Tuscaloosa from 2007-2015 and put some great defenses on the field. He only left when he got a chance to lead his alma mater. I’ve heard the rumors of negative recruiting and neither I nor any other poster here knows the veracity of them. But I do know Kirby was a big part of 4 SEC Championships and 4 National Championships while at Bama. So that’s how I’ll remember him. RTR

He really tried to screw us on the way out... He tried to sabotage our recruiting class and the whole Mo Smith saga was ridiculous.

We all acknowledge and respect what Kirby did for us.

Kirby Smart directly helped Alabama win a lot of games for about an 8 year period. For that, he's Aces in my book. What he does with his time after leaving Alabama is no concern of mine, and has no bearing on how he's remembered from my perspective.

Any idea otherwise is just being petty.

Except for the fact that he directly screwed us on the way out after Saban was responsible for any success he had. Saban made him who he is.. Sure he helped us in many ways. However, people around the program will tell you that Kirby lost tons of respect on his way out while Pruitt did everything the right way.

I'll go with the guy that stabbed CNS in the back before he ever got a foot out the door.

AND

He tried his best to gut Sabans program with the coaches he went after including the irreplaceable scott Cochran. frick ! Kirby ! I hope Georgia loses every game they ever play.

That’s Nicks fault not Kirby’s. Nicky should of tightened the ship.

I’ll remember him by the visors, his ups, recruiting and needing a DB blitz to get any pressure on the QB.

I swear though it sounds to me like he was throwing his players and maybe a coach under the bus on the whole fake punt debacle. It was a bad call, but if he wants to play the “my players were too slow to snap it” card then he should’ve taken a TO. Ultimately it was his responsibility and he blew it.

Kirby has the personality of a rock and if you watch his mouth move when he talks, it makes you want to gouge your eyeballs out. The fact that he tried to gut our staff when he left, he took some of our commits and later one of our players and negative recruits like crazy is enough for me to hope he loses every game at UGA. Outside of Auburn, I hate no team more than Georgia right now. Screw ‘em.

I find it hard to me mad at Kirby frankly because he hasn't cost us anything yet.

MAYBE the 2017 SEC Championship by not beating Auburn the first time and handing us the West, but that's about it.
