No offense intended but in 2017, Tua at qb would have given us the best chance of beating Auburn. Even the O.C. thought so.

Josh Jacobs says hello, too.

And in it was in the teams best interest to run him out there for two snaps? No, it wasn’t. It served no point. Didn’t further his development or nothing. It’s a balance and the two snaps he took were pointless. Playing him for two quarters next week? I get that, but not two fricking snaps today.

We just had our starter go down for the year earlier in the game. If you can't grasp the concept of protecting Mac and getting him out of there in a blowout, there really is no helping you.

For two snaps to hand the ball off? Pretty sure Mac could have handled that. Give me a break.

So we want to leave Mac in there the rest of the game and get him hurt? Because if Saban had people would be criticizing him for that.

We have bigger issues to be worrying about besides Taulia's redshirt.

Tua never redshirted and neither did Jacobs. Jacobs stayed injured his Sophomore season, and probably should have redshirted, but Saban needed him

We get that it's not an issue.

2 snaps or 2 quarters. After Tua went down, Lia was not getting his redshirt. He will likely see a lot of action next week and maybe some the following week.

He's not going to redshirt, no matter what. What do you not get? Saban is going to play the hell out of him next week. Once Tua went down, redshirting went out the window

It is for taulia. It’s selfish of you all to think that it’s not a big deal because it could be huge for him. The reward for playing him two snaps to hand ball off wasn’t worth the risk of taulia needing that year if he were to transfer/get hurt/not being good enough for nfl early/etc.

Had he not played two meaningless snaps today he could have played without consequence next week all he wanted.

Taulia was never going to be a four year starter here folks. If he’s good enough to take the job and hold off the guys we have on the roster and coming in we will be lucky to have him for more than two more years.

If he doesn’t win the job he will transfer.

Gnashing teeth over a guy redshirting or not makes no sense. How beneficial was it for us to redshirt Quinnen Williams? Guy ended up playing extensively on one season.

Have you thought that maybe Saban did him a favor by not redhirting him? Now if he gets injured, we'll have it for him.

I was just responded to the point that Saban has always said that he will play whoever gives us the best chance of winning.

Are you people fricking serious? You're bitching because our now backup QB burned his redshirt?

I've never been for redshirting healthy running backs either. Where is the gnashing of teeth for Robinson

I understand, and that's why Jacobs didn't get redshirted his Sophomore year

You might bitching about it as well in four years if taulia could have used that extra year.
