Anyone been to the Houndstooth Saloon in Chicago? I’ll be in town for the marathon on Sunday and I’m looking for a cool place to take in the Arky game. Good food? Any reason to avoid it?

Went there after a Cubs game this summer. It was fine.

Went there in 2010 and watched the Duke game. The bar is packed with the Chicago Bama Alum Association. Was a real good time. And after the game you can go to some other cool places nearby

Ive been a couple of times for games and it was always packed. Last time was the '09 Iron Bowl and I think it has moved since then

The alumni chapter there always holds a watch party I believe. I have a cousin that lives there in Chicago and is a regular there at the Houndstooth on Saturdays.

I have been to the Tooth for several games over the years. Food is good - typical bar food plus a little. It was packed every time I went. Street parking not easy to find and seats in the bar are not easy, so get there early.
