If so, their best isn't good enough.

Ok...I'll agree with you.

But that means two things:

1. A few of those guys should be playing for someone else...and possibly in a different conference, and...

2. We need a new OL coach.

Said it in another thread...the scary thing is that there apparently is no one on the roster any better.

Williams may play on Sundays. Pierschbocher is ok. The rest are not top-half-of-SEC caliber.

Give them a little credit. It's really hard to communicate in that environment and a really good DL had an edge that was a big difference in the game, they beat our OL off the ball all night.

We got beat, but we get to decide if we're losers.

Let's learn from this and go on.

I didn't think the OL was that bad from a physical perspective. Auburn's DL certainly didn't control the game. The offense just wasn't in a groove. Mentally the OL and Jalen could've been better.

Brent Key is a good OL coach. They’ll be good in 2018

Have you seen our pass protection or lack of it all year

Pass protection could be a bit better but can Jalen read the defenses? Why is Jalen always so focused on Ridley? Jalen definitely left six points on the field when Jeudy was wide open.

It wasn’t just in this game. The OL has struggled multiple times all year.

Our offensive scheme post-Mac has largely done our OL no favors. Especially this year. We keep putting them on their heels out in space against athletic D linemen. And then compound it by putting the QB a mile back in the shotgun that gives edge rushers a better angle to the QB. And then we wonder why we get false start after false start.
They should have their hands in the dirt, firing out and driving people off the ball.
And I'd give my right arm for a Michael Williams yackle at the TE position.

I hope that performance wasn’t their best. If it was, we need to do a full scale evaluation of how we recruit offensive linemen.
