Extra motivation for Tua and the defense.

If you want to win the heisman go to the big 12. Seriously these “analyst” have made clear they don’t care about competition. All they care about is putting up numbers. This dude won the heisman by beating Kansas, Oklahoma state, WVU, and texas. None of which is within the top 60 of defenses. Dan lebatard and his dad get a vote too btw. It’s a joke of an award.

Mckenzie Milton and Johnathan Taylor getting 1st place votes
these people need to have their voting right removed.

3rd highest winning score for Murray
Highest ever 2nd place point wise
It wasn't as close as I thought it would be though...people really rode that KM hype train at the end of the year despite not playing a single top 25 D all year. Tua being hurt in the SEC CG (the only thing I can imagine judging by his performance versus the rest of the slayings he orchestrated all year) really apparently made up a lot of voters' minds.

Not too surprised it wasn’t close. Literally everyone in on espn besides a few sec guys picked Murray. For stupid typical reasoning. “He finished strong” despite not actual research against the competition they went against 13 voters didn’t even have tua on their ballot btw. Clowns

I’m still having a hard time believing Kyler Murray won the heisman. Dude sucked so damn bad at A&M. Lincoln Riley is a miracle maker over there.

combination of a good coach plus a conference that doesn't play defense.

The scheme and the explosive WRs coupled with the 56 - 51 scores in every game make a big difference stats and highlights wise...
Now you know EXACTLY why Stoops very graciously "retired" otherwise Riley would be a HC somewhere else but 2 straight back to back Heismans both from QB transfers is a pretty damn good record

And it’s really so much bullshite if you think about it. Murray played against shite defenses all year and nobody questioned it.

Its all smoke and mirrors buddy..Rememebr the numbers Case Keenum put up against no defenses. This board is going to be very surprised by how bad we beat them. It won't be close or pretty.. If Tua plays I don't see him playing in the 4th due to the game being out of hand.
