I thought about pointing that out but then I thought, nobody likes the sports forum wannabe English teacher a-hole, so I didn't.

This sounds like something the sports forum wannabe English teacher a-hole would say.

Then I have learned that I had a mistaken understanding of that word. Thanks for correcting me. But it was an honest mistake so don’t be snarky about it.

Etienne returning to Clemson. I just don’t get how Dabo does it.

Wow. Not smart.

He already has a lot of carries on hin and has had some injuries. If Dabo actually cared about this kid he would tell him as a RB with a first round grade; "Go make your money!".

No worries, Phil. I'm just pushing back against the Golding haters. I meant no personal offense.

I'm a small business owner and operator whose business is a language and communication institute in Latin America, and so I literally am a professional English teacher. I teach English (among other things) every single day. I also think it should be spoken and written correctly.

Etienne was one of the 3 top guys who was almost guaranteed to be a 1st/2nd round pick right?

He already has 518 carries in college (Najee has 387, Swift 440)

It doesn't matter who coaches at LSU or comes back to Clemson (or anything else that happens outside Tuscaloosa). Alabama is loaded for bear and will dominate college football in 2020.

Kid has over 500 carries, projected first round and you as a coach aren't telling him to go?

That isn't love man.

He has done enough for Dabo and Clemson.

Yeah, no.

Clemson is returning basically their entire offense minus a WR and OL and are restocking their defensive line with elite talent.

The only person they will really miss on defense is that super star linebacker.

This is why they are heavy favorites.

Clemson is getting more talented "on paper" (i.e., from a recruiting blue chips standpoint) each year. They are really just now getting into Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State type recruiting class territory.

The distance they are putting between themselves and the rest of the ACC is mind boggling when you look at recruiting.

They will be a fixture in the CFP Playoffs and capable of winning it their fair share as well. They aren't going anywhere.

Let them get injuries like we had and they will be a 3-4 loss team.

It will be interesting to see how things go in the ACC going forward. Things have a way of happening you don't see coming. Who's to say Clemson can maintain things with recruiting more highly touted players? Will Clemson piss off one of the big rollers in the ACC like UNC and UNC reports them to the NCAA? Anything can happen.

They are heavy favorites because they are good and their road to the playoffs is cake. However, their defense is suspect and will continue to be so until they get elite athletes in their secondary. Defensively, they actually have lots of issues to solve when it comes to beating other playoff teams.

Let Fabio go down tell me they don’t lose 3. All their backup QBs have transferred.
