There's a reason why Joe Brady was hired by Carolina to be their OC and Ensminger remained at LSU.

Kinda looks like what happens to us every time we win it all. I’m sure someone has counted how many coaches have gotten hired away from us, which would have broken many a program.

Question becomes will they be able to replace all the departures.

LSU pays $taff VERY well. Sits in hotbed of player talent. Coach O has lots of connections throughout the coaching community. OC & DC will get plenty of control and support. LSU wont have any problem attracting good replacements. Here's a curveball: I wouldn't be surprised if coach O hires Pete Golding as LSUs next DC.

Surge, can we help him pack his shite? Golding to LSU would be the penultimate good news. We get rid of him and foist him on our biggest threat in the west.

I've been as vocal in my disdain against Golding as anyone on this board.

However, after reviewing the Michigan game and considering a couple of other variables, I'm going to back off endorsing his removal pending another review.

Our injuries were insane and we still trashed Golding.

The Golding hate has gotten kind of ridiculous.

I am not even completely sold on the guy, but you would think that we gave up 500 yards/30 points per game in 2019.

We really only had one objectively bad game, but even in that game our defense was put in awful situations the entire first half, and they tightened up enough in the second half for us to make it a game. But that is our fanbase for you.

Yep, football still matters at Alabama.

I recall Doug Nussmeier getting verbally flogged daily and he actually won a NC for us. Then after only 2 seasons at the controls, Saban traded him in on some guy named the Lane Train. Tough standard around this place.

8 underclassmen now gone for LSU.

linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson declared this morning.

A total collapse.

Uh it’s happened to Bama a lot the last few years. After every Nc it seems we get poached on both sides of the ball and then half the staff leaves with the new coach.

Penultimate means "second to last" regarding order in a series. Dictionaries are our friends.

So your post was embarrassing for 2 reasons, the other being your opinion.

Yea, it'd be nice to have Corey Raymond head to Baylor or somewhere else as DC if he's not promoted by LSU.

More upheaval the better.

I wouldn't call it an implosion. Just the reality of winning a NC on the back of a strong coaching staff. Aranda has been on the coaching radar for a couple of years, so not surprising he finally took an opportunity. And Brady was going to be on a LOT of short lists after their offensive turnaround this year.

LSU will be fine in the long run, though they'll most likely take a step back next year.

1SU will be fine, they will not be back to back champs but they'll be fine. They'll always win 9-10 games.
