On the Beat: Tennessee administrative transition takes twisted turn under Joe DiPietro
(SEC Country)

Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer identifies 4 principles to repair Vols’ athletic culture
(SEC Country)

There are several other article links witin the two articles I posted covering the turnover happening at the top of UT's administration. UT's President just terminated UT's relatively new Chancellor (who hired and fired John Curry as AD and then appointed Fulmer to replace him) and the President is also on his way out this summer. The powerful (and corrupt) Haslam family includes Tennessee's Governor, ownership of the dysfunctional Cleveland Bowns, and member of UT's Board of Trustees who's continually vying to gain more power and control over UT. It's been quite messy on "The Hill" for years and still is.

RA it for deletion if you'd like too.

Maybe you'd like to RA these too:

CFB Risk on Reddit

Conrad Thompson to marry Ric Flair’s daughter

Evan Mathis sells a 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card. Second highest sold baseball card.

Scroll through the Bama board and you can probably find some more to RA for deletion.

I'd think it's because it's a topic that interests Alabama fans.

That is odd......They just hired that lady Chancellor a year ago and she gave the homers what they wanted when she hired Fulmer to be AD. I see Vol posters on the Rant railing on incessantly about the Haslams and believe they are turning UT into the Browns but haven't really been following it.

You really need to ask? Seriously?

Any newsworthy jabs at problems at Auburn or Tennessee should always be welcome here for discussion among Bama fans without the unwashed riff raff chiming in.

As easy a target to make fun of as Phat Phil is, I think we'd all probably agree that no one on the planet loves the University of Tennessee as much as Fulmer. His continued presence is probably appreciated by most fans. Yeah, he held on to the HC job too long and had to be pushed out kicking and screaming. Their fans who haven't let that go yet probably need to get over it.

I think most Vols fans who wanted him gone as HC are glad Fulmer is now AD, and in hind sight now wish he'd been given another year or two to try and right the ship. UT football has pretty much been in the pit of misery ever since Phil was fired as HC. The power playing messiness within UT's adiministration has been going on for a very long time and still is. It's about impossible to hire a high caliber HC with that environment. Hence Kiffin, Dooley, Jones and now Pruitt.
