How getting sacked on the first play of overtime allowed Alabama to win:

2018 CFP Championship Final 2 Plays

Pretty good detailed breakdown. Note Flesh's comments at the end.

I'm not sure who made that, but that is a pretty questionable breakdown and assessment.

There's a like half a dozen errors I saw with just a cursory read through.

Like what? I'm not saying you're wrong, I would just like to know.

I'll have to go back and look when I have a few minutes, but off the top of my head, on the first play the wheel route was definitely not open, Smith had that smothered and could have been an easy pick, on the second play the RB isn't staying in to block, Harris is right into his pattern as the check down and Parrish isn't guarding the 5 yard out he is guarding the 15 yard out. There's a couple others too but those are what I remember at the moment.
