Murray was a deserving winner but tua had it all year. And it’s no guarantee tua wins it next year either. Just sucks to lose it at the last second. Gonna be a long couple of weeks.

Probably go to the next OU qb if Riley is still there. They look like the same team on offense as last year, and Murray is the beneficiary of a great team in a poor def league.

Since about 6 hours ago, I have changed my tune in regards to the Orange Bowl..... Oklahoma doesn't have a fricking chance in hell.

Bama plays an easier schedule next year and probably the hardest game we’ll play is Auburn and only because of the stadium and nothing else.

The rest of Oklahoma’s QBs on their depth chart will be either freshmen or 1 junior next year so, I wouldn’t be too salty about it. To be honest, he could end up like Deshaun Watson, who had 2 Heisman type years and got shafted in both (well, outside 2015).

I just have a feeling Trevor Lawrence is going to put up ridiculous numbers next year. Plus there is always an unknown guy that blows up

Nobody should ever be salty about the Heisman results. Everyone knows it's mostly a dog and pony show. Hope to win it, but never expect it or even try to.

Win games, win championships, teams can actually control those things.

Not easy to be up for Heisman two years in a row. Would be difficult for Tua to win it now.

Hope I am absolutely wrong about this.

I am just hoping Tua and the team feels pissed about it for two more games!.
But I will settle for the O-linemen being the most pissed !.

Eh, Tua will have a chance to bring the Heisman next year. The year Alabama brings back Jeudy, Ruggs, Devonta, Irv, and Waddle.

Being honest, Tua was off and on down the stretch. Injuries and play calling could have had something to do with that, but for a first year starter in college to put up his numbers and to go 13-0, I think he'll be fine.

Part of this is also on the coaching staff. I am not upset about the staff's decision and support what they did this year. But when you have coaches that are focused on padding a players stats that will never bode well for a player on our team. Our coaches are focused on winning and getting players snap experience. Just what it is.

I hope Irv comes back but he’s worked himself into a second day pick worst case so that will be an interesting one.

We’ve got a bunch of guys that will have to make draft decisions and I could see a few of them going either way.

Thompson
Jonah
Quinnen
Mack
Raekwon
Irv
Jacobs
Jennings

I generally just expect everyone to go. Hopefully at least a couple of these guys decide to come back.

Thompson, Jonah, Quinnen, Jennings, and Irv can't really improve their stock. Jacobs has had some injury issues and he's a RB. Mack and Raekwon need to come back.

The Heisman has been a joke for over 20 years now. Be salty at yourself for allowing the media to suck you into the hype.

Disagree on Jennings and possibly Irv. Both could improve their stock.

It was probably worse a long time ago. The award went to a name player on just a few select schools: Notre Dame, Yale, etc.

Bama's easy schedule next year might hurt Tua. He might not take many snaps in the 2nd half of games next year.

Saban will have to keep him in blowouts to keep his numbers up.

You left out OU. And I haven't looked at the Big 12 run in general but it's been a lot.

Wanna win the Heisman? You can't go wrong doing in in the Big 12 where the defenses are absolute shite.
