Actually there is not a lot of quality depth inside. There is no backup center established. You wound up the spring with a redshirt freshman at one guard, another guy who has had bad injury luck and played very little last year and a suspended guy. The depth problems are due to the 2nd and third year classes being short of inside people who can play. You only brought in 2 OL's among the 2nd year guys and the third year guys have 2 players but both are natural tackles. Kind of a scramble situation going forward. Plus they like this guy.

Once we get this kid juiced up and eating at the training table he will be fine. He wasn’t getting any of this at FSU likely.

That’s why it’s called depth on paper. Plenty of numbers. A different story to how a new OL coach sees it.
