Does anybody have the inside scoop on Brian branch? He seems like a great player. Anybody seen him play live? Seems weird to me that Georgia did not pursue him harder

Alabama commits 'coming home' for LSU game (BamaOnLine | segments)
quote:
Alabama will welcome dozens of recruits to Tuscaloosa this weekend for the LSU game, a good chunk of which will be Crimson Tide pledges... Here's a look at some of the commits that have announced their plans to make it back, or how they put it: Come home this weekend...quote:

11:57 AM - Nov 3, 2019
Four-star safety Brian Branch is quietly having one of the best seasons out of all the Tide pledges, contributing big for Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek in all three phases of the game. The All-American is locked in with the Tide, and has visited for other home games throughout the season thus far...

In what way did UGA not pursue him as hard as you would expect?

I just haven’t heard anybody from there boards really even mention him. Do you have any scoop on him?
Posted on 11/16/19 at 10:23 am to rtr12
I'm not trying be an a-hole but what scoop are you looking for? He is an extremely talented prospect that is a firm Bama commit who is regularly on campus. He is an outstanding 2 way player for his HS. There is no scoop to be had. Most recruits don't have a circus will he won't he recruitment, there is nothing more to know.......
He is a silent to LSU.

Lol. Just seeing if anybody has scouted him? Was curious to what others thought. Was wondering why Georgia didn’t press harder. Not saying it’s a roller coaster recruitment just was curious. Sometimes when the instate school doesn’t press for a player there is usually a reason. A la Eddie smith, Derek Kief, Johnny Dwight, oj Smith. Just was curious

Fair enough, however I will point out message board noise doesn't indicate how hard UGA is pushing. He seems all Bama so it looks like he is not indicating interest in UGA when they approach him. Georgia have a ton of in state kids that show little interest in UGA every year. I haven't heard anything negative about the kid.

Thanks man. Was wondering if there were any Georgia guys on our board who have seen him live too. Hopefully somebody will chime in. Would love to see him in one of the all star games

Eddie Smith.... there’s a name I haven’t heard in a while . Curious as to his development

Haha same. Usually if we haven’t heard anything then it’s probably not good. Think we have more talented freshman in the secondary and he got passed if I had to guess

Guys, I'm thinking the good luck pics aren't working. I refuse to post photos of guys doing the whirlybird. I'm at a crossroads
