Dude puts on a lot of work and he ask for it not to be tarded up.
Respect other people's work and time. He's doing lots of people solids that don't have the time to search for themselves. For Free!
So the way I see it unless you contribute STFU and GTFO if you don't like what he asked. Or just read and don't post.

My bowing out of this thread isn't due to being pissed off. I'm not. I did it because it's become obvious that the majority agree with Taskrj and are convinced that I want to block ALL off-topic posting itt -- despite me repeatedly explainlng that's not my goal. Heck, I even participate in some off-topic posting itt. They clearly want a wide-open hodgepodge MEGATHREAD, and I don't want to be their bad guy they feel is in the way of what they want. I already explained that. This thread wiil be fine without me contributing. Perhaps Taskrj will take over and do a good job.

This guy’s posts are unreadable.
I know ppl use these threads differently but for ppl who don’t hang out here all day, it really is terrible to log on here to try to catch up on the news of the day and find a bunch of this instead.
This surge guy at least understood that.

No way. First of all, I don't desire to be "running the show" for this thread, nor do I feel that I'm entitled to. But I am just as entitled as everyone else to express my opinions. I thought most people would prefer this thread not get derailed and excessively cluttered. But it's become obvious that I was wrong about that.
And because I've occasionally posted remarks aimed at avoiding derailments, the majority here think I want to be "running the show" and think I'm a control freak and a jerk. They don't feel free to post whatever they want in this thread if I'm involved with it. So they're very glad to be rid of me. And honestly, I am ok with that -- I got myself into the situation of having to stay out of here.
