i hope that film on the 5* rb milton above, is similar to shaun alexander. no matter how fast hes running, he never seems to be running full speed. otherwise, the kid looks kind of slow. but then again, i dont know how you get 5* being slow.

From Kendall Milton's 247 profile:
quote:

Verified Results:
100 Meters - 11.04 Seconds - 03/22/17

Scouting Report:
Bigger back who runs with a unique blend of power, speed and balance. Shows more shiftiness than you’d expect from a back his size. His balance is top-notch. Can take a hit and not lose his base and gains significant yards after contact. Can run through holes and sees them before they open. Can hit the hole and go. Good but not great receiver out of the backfield. Has a tendency to run upright on occasion when there is traffic. Projects as immediate Power 5 starter and projects as first-round NFL draft choice.

Milton runs the 100m on his HS track team.

Alabama is just getting started on the recruiting trail in the 2020 class despite already ranking No. 1 in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

UA returns to the field to resume spring practices next week and will have plenty of opportunities to build momentum leading up to A-Day next month.

Here, BamaOnLine looks at the five latest Alabama picks on the 247Sports Crystal Ball... (more)

Thanks for the tip, Surge. Sure was good to catch up on the recruiting nuggets!
After whiffing on Dean, To'oto'to and Heimuli is it too early to crown 5-star ILB Antoine Sampah (Woodbridge (VA.)) our most important recruiting target?
Isn't Saban from Virginia?

We are also after Mekhael Sherman,Savell Smalls and Justin Flowe for LB's. Hope we don't strike out with them this year.

11.04 isn't impressive for a 100 meter.

To be honest he seems to be that level of speed on his film.

There are a few more linebackers on the list that would be major gets on the same level though Flowe appears to be the Complete package ILB but I agree...Bama must land a few major players at that ILB.

Top100 OL schedules Alabama visit (BamaOnLine-VIP)

4-star OT Andrew Gentry 6-8/310 CO hudl

Gentry plans to visit (unofficial) Bama A-Day weekend and plans to commit before football season. He's a member of the LDS church and will go on a two-year mission before college. He'll count toward signing and initial counter limits for 2022 when he enrolls on scholarship.
quote:

Scouting Report

Broad shouldered frame with thick lower half. Strong upper body at 310 lbs, with room to add some mass. Impressively agile for his size. Finishes blocks and repeatedly reaches second level to open running lanes. Quick off the snap and maintains pad level through contact. Top-notch run blocker who seals his gaps. Room to improve as a pass blocker and with his overall athleticism. Potential multi-year starter at Power Five level and NFL Draft Day 2 selection.
