For Alabama's purposes, an all P-5 OOC schedule of Nebraska, Oregon State, Kansas, and Georgia Tech is really no different than playing 4 FCS teams. The odds of us losing any of those games are like 1 in 1000. All the griping about schedules, recruiting, the number of teams in the playoffs, etc. can really be boiled down to "how do we prevent Alabama from winning every year". It's got nothing to do with improving the state of the sport. Like I keep seeing people say that the "answer" to the lack of parity in college football is to reduce scholarships down to something in the 65-75 range. You're talking about eliminating like 2000 scholarships, which means thousands of teenagers are denied an opportunity to play college football, just so you can throw a wrench in Saban's gears for a couple of years until he adjusts and continues dominating you. It's just pitiful at this point.

The only Nick Saban problem Alabama has is finding a worthy replacement when the time comes.
