Another season. Best talent in years and we get the same ole subpar results.

The buyout is what gets me. Avery literally called Battle, and somehow he gave an unproven commodity such a large buyout.

Just more incompetence from our former AD. Could Alabama have hired anyone worse to that position?

I haven’t been ready to settle in either camp for going on a year, but I think the game we just saw made it a lot easier somehow. This team looks undisciplined, unmotivated, and unprepared far too often in games where (at least on paper) we should at least have a decent shot at winning.

Whatcha supposed to do when one team shoots 60% from three point land? Even good teams will only hit 35% or so on a good night. Auburn was unconscious last night.

We could have kept the game more respectable without the turnovers.

Not referring to just one game

This has been a problem with Avery,s teams. Poor free throw shooting and turnovers. Ingram Mack and Herb had more TO,s the points. 11 TO,s and less than 10 pointsf

Losing on a night like that is fine. Not even really contesting 3s and turning it over seemingly every other possession is the problem.

Before the game pretty much everyone said we would lose, but we should be able to keep it respectable even @Auburn. We've gotten boat raced down there three years running now.

Yep. It's not about losing road games to good teams or hot shooting teams. It's looking utterly incompetent for 40 minutes in 5 or 6 games, and for long stretches in 20 others, every season.

one thing i seen last that is a continuance game to game. bama dont seem to have anyone that can set a proper screen in the front court or most anywhere for that matter. they seem to always be late and out of position to execute a proper screen. which means the ball handler doesnt get any separation. you can forget offensive execution when they are not doing their job. this has not improved since avery's arrival, imo.

Bama teams under Avery fade in the last 2weeks. We will be lucky to get to 500

IF, and this is a huge IF, he were to get fired. I would have to think that Byrne has already put out feelers and has an agreement in place with a pretty big coach.

That being said, I don't expect him to fire Avery.
