The irony is Grant is 10-5 at Dayton, just like Bama, but is 2-0 and tied for first in the A-10. Meanwhile, Bama flounders at 1-2 in the SEC in a group of 5 teams tied for 7th thru 11th. Only Vandy, State, and Misery have worse conference records right now and Misery can right the ship against Bama Wed night.

But if you want some soccer talk, a kid from Birmingham (Chris Richards) was just bought by Bayern Munich. A kid from Montgomery (JJ Williams) was taken in the 1st round of the MLS SuperDraft by the Crew. Another Birmingham kid (Brandon Servania) is on a homegrown contract with FC Dallas.
