If you asked Donta how many foul shots he shot in practice he would have no idea but would guess north of a million.
You become a better shot by shooting.

If we lose tonight in Coleman to a less talented but better coached Ole Miss, Avery should be fired on the spot.

Then we fire him after the Baylor loss. If we dont lose again this year,we fire him after the Final Four.

When y’all come to your senses and realize Avery has a low ceiling and has hit it, can we please do a smart thing and bring Steve Prohm home? All the man has done is win and win consistently at Murray State and Iowa State. I think he could get it done in Tuscaloosa too.

Yep.

When the coach's son has the worst shot mechanics on the team, that tells you a lot about that coach's attention to detail and fundamentals.

What you see is what you are going to get with Avery. He might have an occasional year where we're stacked with young talent he hasn't yet corrupted and make a small run in the tourney. But, generally, bubble team is going to be his ceiling.

I wonder if Prohm would even leave a great situation at Iowa State and come here. They have better facilities, a rapid basketball fan base, and better history. It sucks to admit, but we're not exactly the most desirable destination for coaches. Even if he is an alum and we're renovating Coleman.

He is making 1.5 million at Iowa State... At this point we offer him 3 million and make him decide

Y'all are fooling yourselves if you think Avery gets fired this year.

Not saying rather that's right or wrong, but I would be stunned if Byrne cans him.

Byrne won't do it this year. The Pelicans might take him though

I just find it hard to believe we're going to fire a coach that makes nearly 3 million and has a huge buyout, while offer another coach 3 million. Avery will probably be here for another year because of his ludicrous contract. Any fans expecting things to change though are delusional. Avery is what he is. He's hit his peak as a coach and we're stuck with it because Battle is a moron.

We'll be lucky if the Cavs or Pelicans take his arse.
