Players not caring win or lose is a reason for fans not to buy in. If they were held accountable for lazy, sloppy play being benched like winning coaches do it would stop but little Avery from NBA. He's used to players laying down whenever they feel.

They know he needs them now with the stretch run/NCAA berth on the line . He should have been benching them early in the year if effort was a problem.

Coaches that know what they're doing never have issues with team effort. Maybe the occasional individual, but not the team. They play the way he has coached them to play, whether it was intentional on his part or not.
