This team has few play makers and experienced elite athletes, unlike what we've grown accustomed to lately. He's going to have to build some from all the raw talent he's collected....and he's gonna need to do it quickly.
I don't doubt that he can, but the uncertainty leaves us all apprehensive..... ..here's to an interesting rest of the season!

So far who really knows anything? Clemson looks awful, Georgia looks good but with Clemson being their big win and struggling with Georgia tech, it really doesnt say much about Georgia. Oklahoma struggled with Nebraska and on down the line we go. Its a very weird season so far.

Florida either 1) had been planning for the Alabama game pretty much all offseason and so far this season, 2) Maybe is a really good team that played well against Bama. Or Bama is just a good team that played another good team in a hostile environment and still found a way to win.

Glad we found a way to hold on yesterday. Better to having multiple teaching moments in a win than a loss.

Definitely some doubt moving forward. We'll see what this group of guys is all about.

This group needs to make major strides going forward between now and Ole Miss week. I'm scared to death of that game.

we have play makers who have not risen to the top yet. 1,8 and 9 on O. All over the place on D including 2, 8 and 10 who had sub par games all in the same game.

It's fun to cheer for a death star like 2020. It's also fun to cheer for a team who figures it all out as the season progresses like 2015. Maybe more fun.

Hopefully we see a 2015 type group (without the Ole Miss loss LOL).

If that game were this week, I would expect a decisive loss.

Ole Miss will be tough. Environment will need to be top notch. We haven't had a ton of those types of home games the last few years, so hopefully people are excited about the opportunity to matter in the outcome.

If the team and coaching staff doesn't improve quickly we'll have another 2015 Ole Miss style loss on our hands. And it won't get any easier with Texas A&M the next week.

Florida is definitely a top ten team despite the venting. They're talented and playing there was insanely hard.

Florida has been game planning for bama all off-season. They had a good strategy, but we self-destructived most of the day. Stupid penalties, dropped passes, didn't set the edges of line of scrimmages. 55 cost us at least one TD and set us up on two three and outs with bad penalties. We played like a beast for 15 minutes and like shite for 45. Inconsistent not untalented which can be corrected with better focus. Florida played good but we should have won by two TDs at least . Going into a hostel environment and pulling out a win will harden this team. They may not win the natty this year but they will be there at the end.

We have plenty of playmakers, just not a lot of experience. People that thought we were just going to trot into this season and dominate everyone again were living in a fantasy world. It's a long season, and we aren't going to blow everyone out, so just go ahead and accept that.

We still should beat everyone on our schedule, and no potential playoff contenders look all that much better than us, if at all.

This is what people need to remember. We're three weeks into the season and no one seems to be truly dominant at this point. With so many of the upper echelon teams replacing talent, this season could actually end up being unpredictable and entertaining. We've had upsets galore and we're not even out of September yet.

This can't be said enough.

Oklahoma had to hold on at home to beat Tulane by 5 and then edged a bad Nebraska by 7.

Clemson needed a goal line stand at home to beat Georgia Tech.

LSU LOST to a bad UCLA team.

Washington (ranked #20 at the time) LOST to FCS Montana.

Texas A&M had to come from behind to beat Colorado 10-3 - which lost 30-0 to Minnesota this weekend.

Ohio State lost at home to Oregon - who had barely edged Fresno State the week prior.

Ohio State was in a 7 point game at home against Tulsa with 4:00 to play.

There's no way to sugarcoat the defensive performance yesterday. It was bad. Having said that, it's way too easy to take things for granted.

I'm not going to do that. Defense has got to be better and the penalties were unacceptable but a team replacing a first round/first year NFL starter QB, Heisman WR, and a ton of other talent just went on the road in game 3 and beat one of the 2 teams that will win the east. This is still a very good team that could end up great.

and Florida is better than that....they have lot of great players and Mullen is a great offensive play caller.

I get all of the concerns and criticisms but we did get out of there with the win and the defense and offense responded when needed. Hopefully this will help this team grow and have confidence.
