3. '18 SECCG
4. '11 NCG
5. '12 NCG - just because drilling ND is so sweet

1. 2008 Iron Bowl
Posted on 12/3/18 at 9:55 am to LittleJerrySeinfield
1. 2009 SECCG
2. 2008 Reckoning Tour (Athens, Knoxville, Baton Rouge, Auburn at home) (hard to pick just one, it was just euphoric going on those road trips and kicking arse and then ending the streak in a beatdown)
3. 2015 National Title
4. 2017 National Title
5. 2009 National Title

That, too, was nice. May kick my #5 out for this one.

1. Bama 26, UGA 23
2. Bama 32, UF 13
3. Bama 36, Auburn 0
4. Bama 41, UGA 30
5. Bama 21, LSU 0
Honorable Mention- Bama 49, Michigan St 7
I know we had bigger games for championships and whatnot, but these are my favorites. As unbelievable as our win in the SECCG this year was, we played like crap. I’ll appreciate it a hell of a lot more if we go on to win it all.

That Mich St game was the biggest arse whipping ever. Bama sent half of their team to the hospital.

The 09 UT game and 09 Iron bowl are up there - nothing like climbing that mountain for the first time.
Probably the only regular season games I would put there although a couple LSU games definitely count. Maybe the shootout iron bowl in I think 2014 oh and the UGA blackout game definitely counts.
As far as championships
2015 national championship after everyone counted bama out
Last season's NC of course
Last weekend's SEC
2011 NCG in the superdome
there have been a hell of a lot of good ones

Totally agree with that
Also, that's a damn fine list. The 2008 regular season + 2009 SEC Championship game will always be the best football period of my life, and I honestly can't see that changing. And what is strange is the 2009 national title game doesn't even really come close to 2008 and that 2009 Florida game.
It was like Saban said, we had the 1980 Mircale season and beat the Russians, then beating Texas was like beating Finland for the Gold. Beating the USSR wouldn't haven mattered without it, but everyone remembers and loves beating the USSR, not Finland.

While watching the nail biters can be a bit intense, when we pull 'em out there's nothing like 'em. With that in mind, these are probably my favorites of the Saban era thus far:

6. 2009 Iron Bowl
7. 2014 @LSU
8. 2009 @UT aka Rocky Block
9. 2015 Tennessee
10. 2017 @Mississippi State

Hard to rank in order but I'll go with my top 5
2009 SEC Title Game vs Fla
2014 Iron Bowl
2012 National Title Game vs Notre Dame
2018 vs LSU - Felt so good to shut them up and expose them and their secondary as frauds
2018 SEC Title Game vs UGA - What Jalen did needs its proper place in history. One of the greatest Bama games of all time

You know a game that I despised and get sick even thinking about that some people always love to talk about?
Rocky Block.
You know a game that was awesome and I love as much as any other?
Rocky Stop.

21-0 will always be #1 to me personally. Living in New Orleans and listening to the shite talking in the lead up to that game made it so sweet. That night out on the town was amazing.

I agree, but that 2009 season drained me emotionally. I felt that Bama was the best team in the country at the beginning of the season, but the stink of the Shula years wasn't so far away that I had confidence they could run the table in the SEC to get the rematch with Florida.

We almost lost to a 7-5 Tennessee team with, at the time, loud-arse mouthy Kiffin and as soon as it ended I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. It was such a near total disaster. I took almost zero joy out of it (and I hate Tennessee as much or more than anyone).
I just have trouble looking back on it with anybody more than a nervous wipe of the brow.

Yep, the 2009 regular season was not all that much fun (relatively), because the whole point of it was to get back to Atlanta and beat Florida. Anything other than that was failure.
The 2008 season was just a wild ride of OMG OMG OMG OMG WE'RE ACTUALLY AWESOME AGAIN THIS IS WHAT OUR PARENTS ALWAYS SAID IT WAS LIKE IN THE 70S AND ITS HERE OMG OMG OMG OMG
