I haven't watched Machida in awhile but a lot of people are saying he's older and washed up. He's still one of the best in the business but Eryk is catching him at the right time

I guess. I don't keep up with it but Machida was a bad mofo in his day.

To be the best you've gotta beat the best. We'll see what Anders is truly made of with this fight for sure

Machida was one of the greats of his era and even just a few years ago fought for a title but he's gotten smashed three times in a row now albeit by mostly elite competition. The fight game seems to have passed him by but these types of matchups often go in favor of the wily vet.

It's going to take someone with a chin to beat Anders and unfortunately Machida hasn't had one in a while... I mean, I'm happy for Eryk but it's sad to see one of the greats fall off like Lyoto has.

Yeah he was my favorite fighter when I first got into UFC. Definitely rooting for Anders here but hopefully Machida doesn't take too much damage in the process.

That's the key. I think Anders wins if he can do that. I know this is a huge step up in competition for Anders but he hasn't looked too tired at all after any of his fights. He seems to be in very good shape and he's very frickin strong too. That doesn't bode well for Machida since he has a glass chin and he's 9 years older than Anders
