Per the infamous Kevin Hagen, international evaluations at Bama project as many as 8 or 9 first round draft picks.

He didn’t include Tua on his list, but Kiffin ( :-) )stated elsewhere that Tua was considered a first round Talent and today Dilfer said Tua would win the Heisman.

Regardless, Hagen says the Bama staff privately rate this frosh class as the best ever with normal Bama classes projecting half as many
First rounders.

Henry Ruggs
Devonte Smith
Jerry Judy
Jedrick Wills
Alex Leatherwood
Dillon Moses
Naji Harris
Tua Tagovailoa

And possibly

Vandarious Cowen

The all time record is six.

I don't think there was enough footage of Ray to really decide. He showed flashes and made big plays, but most scouts need to see him play more.

I think it's way too early to say that all 3 of the WRs are first rounders. We sorta always knew Julio, Coop, and Ridley would be from the moment they signed. We assumed the same with Jeudy, and he's looked good when given the opportunities. Smith and Ruggs have also looked good, but we'll need to see what they do with Tua these next two seasons.

Let me just say this, only so many WRs in the country can have first round grades. If three of them are all on our team in the same class with a first round QB talent and two first round OT talents plus a first round RB there's no excuse shy of being too conservative that we don't score set national records, not just school records, offensively. That kind of talent on one offense is unheard of. I certainly see the potential in all of those guys, but it's early.

The all time signing class record is 6 OR 6 from the same team in a single draft? Big difference. I think it would be pretty difficult for all these guys to all come out their Jr year or all stay for their Sr year so I assume you mean the all time record is 6 from a single signing class, correct?

I’m not sure about that. So your right, 6 is for a single year’s draft and not a single class. Not sure what that number is.
