Does Ohio State have the best offense we’ve faced in the playoffs?

Of all the teams we’ve played against under Saban, where would you place this Ohio State offense and team?

It’s hard to tell with the limited number of games. Of the 3 ranked teams they’ve played this year, they’ve only put up a complete performance against one of them.

Statistically speaking the best offense would the 2018 Clemson team

2018 Oklahoma had an explosive offense.

I think everyone is a little confused because OSU looked pretty mediocre all year, and then against Clemson they looked like some juggernaut.

I think it’s possible that the ACC, including Clemson, just sucked this year. Who’s to say that Florida and Georgia wouldn’t have beaten Clemson?

I think it’s maybe just a case of Clemson being vastly overrated,
That said, OSU is a great team, but I think we might be surprised by the game tomorrow in a good way

No. Clemson 2015 and 2016 were far better.

I still cant believe we held them to only 14 points in 2016 until the plays started piling up.

It depends. Last week's tOSU team was very impressive against a formidable defense, however Fields and the team have shown sluggishness many times this season, including just a few week ago in the B1GCG.

It might be relatively equal, but it's certainly not "better" than Clemson 2015/2016/2018, Oklahoma 2018 or Ohio State 2014.

I agree, with such a limited OOC sample this year, Ohio State's performance against Clemson has made this game almost impossible to predict.

I guess a silver lining is that it showed the staff what they were capable of, in terms of preparation.

They are easily the best team (combination of talent, depth, coaching) 2020 Bama will have faced.

Not sure if their offense is the best, but it seems to present the most challenges to areas where the Bama D has struggled. They are very balanced between a good passing game and explosive run game behind Sermon as the RB1. Fields is a stud. Great arm and presents a containment issue. Big physical TEs involved on passing game. Third down conversions behind his legs after a play breaks down may become frustrating if he is truly healthy.

Will be a great game! Very excited for a new matchup in what is clearly the best 2 teams in CFB this year.

They were very shaky at times this season, plus a limited number of games in the B1G. I think Florida was likely a better offensive team and more talented.

Don't forget how pissed OSU was about Dabo ranking them 11th in the final poll, plus they already had the revenge factor from their prior meeting.

Can they carry it over to tonight is going to be interesting.

OSU may be great, I guess we will find out tonight, I do believe Dabo and Clemson took them for granted. Their defense seemed unprepared. That was not one of Clemsons's better performances. The question of course is how much of that was due to OSU.
