Didn't we hear Iowa's Chris Doyle mentioned for strength coach? Glad he didn't get it.

Not sure if he was ever a serious candidate, but I do recall his name coming up during the recent search.

The son of Iowa strength coach Chris Doyle said Tuesday that he’s transferring away from Iowa. Chris Doyle is currently on administrative leave as numerous players have complained about the program’s culture and the way he treated them.

Doyle was placed on administrative leave Saturday after a myriad of players spoke out about their negative experiences at Iowa. Much of that criticism was levied at Doyle and assistant Brian Ferentz, the son of coach Kirk Ferentz. Multiple players noted that changing Iowa’s culture started with a change in the weight room.
