Lol I'm more confident in that opinion than I am in the pass protection part. Najee as a runner did so many things that previous running backs got benched for under Saban, looking for the home run, running sideways instead of towards the endzond, missing pass pro assignments and yet he still got fed touches. Harris is a talented back, but I have a hard time believing if that's jacobs, a 3 star from Oklahoma he keeps getting touches like Najee got.

I bet if jacobs averaged what najee did, he'd have got more touches

Yards per carry is meaningless when it comes to the 3rd and 4th backs for Saban. Especially when you are trying to argue that his 6.7 ypc is so much more than 5.8 from Harris or 5.3 from Jacobs. Nice try to fit this shite into your narrative
I admit I am high on B Rob and I can't know for sure if He'd be better than Harris, but comparing yards per carry in limited sample sets of 110-120 carries doesn't prove anything about running ability.

Honestly that post has an uncomfortable amount of info that I've seen more or less confirmed
So you're saying that we have a team full of self entitled egotistical assholes who get pissy because better players get media attention?

I don't think it's the whole team, I think it's a couple of people who this board has criticized for caring to much about public opinion who this person is extrapolating out to the whole team. I'm no insider I just spend way to much time reading around and know people who text me every rumor they see.

24% of his carries went for 10+ yards, which is best in the SEC. Holyfield 21.3%. Jacobs 19.1%

I can tell I am on island on my najee opinion

Then you can't be high on Brian Robinson.

And how Davis and Buggs basically gave zero effort in the NCG because they are jealous Q gets all the credit.
If all this stuff was true, we wouldn't have been nearly as good as we were. Clemson was just better. They were better on both lines and equal to us at the skill positions.

? Being high on a player's ability isn't the same as pointing at stats. People were high on Tua last year without seeing him play a meaningful snap.

I have no narrative. I think you do though, and I don't think you have a single objective fact to back it up. Just a bunch of stupid bullshite. And 1-1.5 extra yards per touch over the course of a full season isn't exactly minimal. You're talking a 150-200 yard difference in production.

Sounds like a C- movie script, so no.

You are real upset I don't like najee in his current form
I too can see his stats and if he truly is a Henry type that gets better as he gets more touches, I hope he comes back next year and puts up 6.7 ypc as the lead back in a probably 2 back rotation (with Sanders in mopup/whatever the staff sees him as) on 250 touches. That would be fricking awesome. I don't think he is that right now.

Najee averaged a 7 ypc without any big runs. Which can be a criticism as he isn’t a home run threat but it’s more of a plus than anything. Dude has consistently been very good against good competition. He will be the bellcow next year

I saw Buggs during training days. I don’t believe for one second he’d ever half arse

There is not a word in that post that I believe.
The players miss playing for Kirby? Most of them weren’t here when Kirby was here. The only ones would be current seniors, and they wouldn’t have played much then.
Buggs played well all year until getting injured against Auburn. Q was getting hype before then, yet Buggs didn’t stop playing.
Bama does different things with different running backs in different games, remember when Najee got a lot of caries against Georgia in the national title game last year?
Tired of Scott Cochran? He’s one of the most important components of the program.
Others on the offense received credit, particularly the wide receivers.
Saban didn’t pick who was SECCG MVP, so no one can be mad at him about Jalen not getting it.
Finally, this just does not sound like something Saban would let happen.

Yea, I think Buggs has a more serious knee injury than was reported. Complete speculation on my part though

It explains why we had such an awful season.
Posted on 1/10/19 at 8:55 pm to mistaken4193
If there was that level of dysfunction in the locker room they never would have made it to the NC. I swear, it seems evey year now that we have a coach, player(s), etc. that everyone likes to shite on 24/7.
