Devonta will be remembered as the best of the 4 but I still like Jeudy the most

He was the most fun to watch of all of them IMO. He was more of a receiver than Waddle but more slippery than Devonta and just overall fun to watch after the catch. Idk if I share the same sentiment some Bama fans do.
It’s funny cause if I remember correctly he’ll go the lowest of the 4 in draft order. When in reality I’d argue he’s probably the 2nd best overall receiver.

Did Jeudy ever have his "Heisman Moment?" Smitty had several and the biggest one of all, 2nd and 26, Waddle was a potential highlight every time he touched the ball, and Ruggs had some great catches. Not dissing Jeudy, he was great and solid, but I don"t remember many highlight reel catches for him, he just went out and put up a buck 25 to a buck 50 almost every game.

Well, I feel like he was a really flashy WR. May be me just being shallow but I really liked how shifty he was in the open field. Lot of times he would juke someone out of their shoes when he caught it and it was so fun to watch. Waddle was close but he was more of a sideline to sideline guy IMO. It’s like if you had all regular stats on a WR in Madden but you put agility to 99 on Jeudy.

I can see it. I would put Jeudy and Smith a tad above Ruggs and Waddle.

I found Ruggs the least impressive of the four. Both Smith and Jeudy were more complete guys. Though Waddle was outperforming Smith before his injury. Ruggs didn’t have the glue hands of Smith, the perfected route running of Jeudy, or the insane YAC ability of Waddle. That being said, being the “worst” of four first round guys is not an insult.

Ruggs had the safest hands in the country his last 2 years.

Jeudy had the best "dead leg" move of all time.

Ruggs was a step below the other 3.

Nah, Ruggs had the elite speed. His breakaway speed was unmatched. He was a college version of Tyreek Hill. Go back and look at how many TDs he had. They are just hard to remember bc he was just running by everybody instead of juking them. But he did have a few acrobatic catches too. Ruggs was the best athlete of the 4.

He was and still is elite but I think that Waddle is a twitchier version of Ruggs. Waddle has elite speed but his hips seem more fluid making him even more dangerous as a returner. It's nitpicking I know. Ruggs is a speed burner.

I don't think Waddle has near the top speed that Ruggs does. Waddle has the better lateral quickness and probably better start and stop quickness. Ruggs also has a great verticle, probably better than the other three.

Waddle is fast as hell. One of his first plays that I will always remember was the long pass from Tua against Tennessee in 2018. That was one of the most beautiful pass plays that I have seen. Then last year when he burned Georgia and Texas A&M for huge pass plays that broke those games open.

I know which one you’re talking about. That throw down the sideline on a post route where he catches the ball and then turns up the field for the touchdown. My favorite play of that year.

Not as good as Smith especially since Smith had to make way more catches

Ruggs is faster by a hair.. there are videos of them racing a couple times and it was near dead even

There is a video out there of them racing, if you care to look for it

I know it wasn’t serious but they literally raced each other. It was a tie.
I wouldn’t compare Ruggs to Tyreek Hill at all. The only thing they have in common is speed. Waddle is much closer to Hill both build wise and in his quick lateral moves. Both Hill and Waddle are quite shifty. He’s solid in YAC but Ruggs is not that kind of player.

Ruggs might have been the best blocker of the crew. I think I a lot of people missed that aspect of his game.
I don’t think he ever put someone on the bus but he always did a good job taking his man out of the play on the WR screens.

I think Ruggs has the highest ceiling out of the four. Still feel like he is not a finished product as a receiver and that is scary to think about.
Smith is the total package and one thing about him is that he is so consistent, does all of the little things right. Young receivers should want to model their game after him.
Jeudy is the best route runner, makes route running look like art.
Waddle is the most dangerous. I truly believe he will be what the Rams thought they had in Tavon Austin.
